Latest takes
“Fantasy players should take Tyler Warren a few picks earlier or wait nearly two rounds to select Sam LaPorta (TE8).”
Mike Fanelli· Aug 22“Warren was excellent last year on a per-route basis. Among 59 qualifying tight ends, he was sixth in target share, ninth in receiving yards per game, 18th in yards per route run and first downs per route run, and sixth in first-read-read share (per Fantasy Points Data). His target share and first-read share should increase this season with Pittman Jr. gone, and his per-route productivity should also improve if Daniel Jones can stay healthy for the entire season and be at least a shadow of his healthy self.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 8“Obviously, Tyler Warren will see a great deal, and Alec Pierce just secured the bag, but Downs should not be forgotten”

“Tyler Warren (IND) — TE4, Overall RK56, Bye: 13 Tyler Warren ‘s rookie season got off to a fast start, but his production slowed down markedly late in the season, leaving us with a challenging evaluation for 2026.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 30“Tyler Warren ’s rookie season and Alec Pierce ’s contract are reasons to believe that the Colts’ offense can continue to get better around Taylor, making his job much easier.”
Jordan Pullett· Jul 29“This is simply a, “the drop-off from Tyler Warren to Tucker Kraft isn’t going to be as big as you think (and I have Kraft higher, for what it’s worth), and that makes Warren a bad value” sentiment.”
Jeff Krisko· Jul 28“The Colts passing game operated by committee throughout the year, with each of Alec Pierce, Tyler Warren, Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs filling a specific role within the offense.”
Jakob Sanderson· Jul 24“He continued building around a young receiver corps, adding Emeka Egbuka and later Jameson Williams , and locked down his tight end room early with Tyler Warren , calling him a long-term dynasty asset worth building around even with quarterback uncertainty in Indianapolis.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 19“Tyler Warren picked up a small bump but stayed in place at fourth, standing fairly alone in that spot: not close enough to catch third, but comfortably ahead of Tucker Kraft , who settled in as the TE5.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 19“Tyler Warren should continue to ascend.”
Kemper Trull· Jul 10“While Daniel Jones appears healthy heading into 2026, I expect to see more of Warren taking snaps at quarterback, as he did at Penn State. Warren offers unique upside that has received little discussion this offseason.”
Jonathan Lange· Jul 10“The Colts offense took a big step forward in 2025, and they will need to rely even more on Tyler Warren to keep that momentum going. Warren had an outstanding rookie year after leading the Colts in targets last season. The departure of Michael Pittman (PIT) will lead to even more looks for Warren's second season.”
Jonathan Lange· Jul 10“Warren had a strong rookie season, catching 76 of 112 targets for 817 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown. Warren played 84% of the snaps as a rookie, running a route on 83.6% of the team's dropbacks.”
Rich Hribar· Jul 8“Tyler Warren has a clear chance to finish as the overall TE1 in 2026. He's the returning member of Indy's receiving corps most likely to handle those middle-of-the-field opportunities that previously belonged to Michael Pittman. Warren saw the second-most targets inside the 10-yard line among all tight ends last season (11), yet he finished with only four spikes.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 2“Among the second-tier tight ends, Tyler Warren generated some of the strongest endorsements. He was named a must-draft target thanks to expectations for increased volume and a larger offensive role. The belief is that Warren still has room to grow and could push toward the elite tier if his opportunity expands.”

“Rome Odunze is coming off a foot injury, but he did play in the playoffs.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 22“Round 9: Rome Odunze (WR – CHI) With Luther Burden III dealing with a hamstring injury, this is something that could be nagging for quite a bit of time.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 22“Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III is also dealing with some soft-tissue injuries that could hamper him, and Rome Odunze is coming off a foot injury (though he’s been cleared, it’s still worth noting).”

“Odunze remains a strong positive regression candidate tied to Caleb Williams , especially if the Bears’ passing game takes another step forward under HC Ben Johnson .”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 18“Currently going as the WR28 in PPR leagues, per FantasyPros’ average draft position (ADP), things are looking optimistic for Rome Odunze this season. Last season, Odunze played in just 12 regular-season games after dealing with a foot injury.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 16“That would have ranked fifth among WRs last season.” – Jared Smola ( Draft Sharks ) “The drumbeat has been loud for Luther Burden III this offseason, but I can’t help but love the value of Rome Odunze at WR28.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 11“Rome Odunze (CHI) — ECR: WR29 | Projection Rank: WR22 | Projected FPTS: 178.2 | Diff: +7 Rome Odunze ‘s second season was a tale of two halves, as injuries and poor catchable targets derailed what started as a breakout campaign. Before Week 9, he ranked top-10 in WR fantasy points per game while dominating high-value usage, leading the Bears in targets, red-zone looks, and air yards share.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 11“Odunze got off to one of the hottest starts last year, ranking as the WR3 over the first month, averaging 19.9 PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he scored 15 or more fantasy points in half of his games. Meanwhile, DJ Moore is gone, and the Bears did nothing to replace him.”
Mike Fanelli· Aug 9“Rome Odunze (WR – CHI) Going as the WR28, 64th overall, the projections have Odunze considerably higher at WR23, with 63 catches, 980 yards, and 8.1 touchdowns, actually ahead of several more hyped names in that same receiver room. There’s real ongoing debate about how this offense’s targets split between Odunze, a more hyped teammate, and the team’s ascending second-year tight end. One analyst notes the team’s new head coach has been unusually candid in public comments specifically praising that more hyped teammate, a signal some in the industry read as favoring him over Odunze this year, and the projections themselves do lean that direction too, just by a much smaller margin than the market currently reflects.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 8“Love this one. A play on the phrase, “All roads lead to Rome,” this references your Rome Odunze team. He’s an undervalued wideout in an ascending offense. You’ll want to take Odunze.”
Frank Ammirante· Aug 4“The Bears appear confident Odunze will bounce back from the injury in 2026, having traded durable starting receiver D.J. Moore to the Bills. After shipping out Moore, the Bears made modest free agent investments in Kalif Raymond (one year, $3.5MM) and Scotty Miller (one year, $1.3MM), who are not starting-caliber receivers, and spent a third-round pick on former LSU wideout Zavion Thomas.”
Connor Byrne· Jul 21“Over his first four games of last season, Odunze was the fantasy WR3 behind Puka Nacua and Amon-Ra St. Brown. That's when he suffered a foot injury and never seemed to fully recover.”
Ellis Johnson· Jul 10“Last year Rome came in hot right out of the gate, averaging 17.4 points through the first four games…then the bye week hit. It was a full 180. He was inconsistent and unreliable and then he was injured, missing the last five games. Now we wonder, were the first four games a fluke?”
Maggie Thraen· Jul 9“Rome Odunze started his sophomore campaign red hot, but faded over the second half while playing through and eventually missing time with a stress fracture in his foot.”
Jakob Sanderson· Jul 8“Odunze got off to one of the hottest starts last year, ranking as the WR3 over the first month, averaging 19.9 PPR fantasy points per game. Odunze could easily have a Jameson Williams-like top-12 finish if he gets seven targets per game, and he averaged 7.5 targets per game last season.”
