Latest takes

Tetairoa McMillan
  • McMillan is currently ranked as the WR17 in expert consensus rankings (ECR), and I feel that managers are paying a premium for a player with many surrounding question marks. Last season, the chips fell nicely for McMillan to finish as a volume play, but increased competition and middling play under center have me worried about his outlook in 2026.

  • While I like McMillan, he is overvalued as the WR15 in ADP.

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 14
  • If I missed on early wide receiver in favor of loading up at running back, I would be fine with Egbuka as my WR1 heading into the season.” – Aaron St Denis ( Fantasy Sports Advice Network ) Tetairoa McMillan (WR – CAR) “Few receivers in the WR13-WR30 range offer the kind of ceiling Tetairoa McMillan brings to the table.

  • Tetairoa McMillan (WR – CAR) Tetairoa McMillan already produced enough as a rookie to make him an obvious dynasty asset, but he remains particularly attractive because his best football may still be ahead of him

    Ryan Kirksey· Aug 6
  • ADP: +6 Tetairoa McMillan wasted no time establishing himself as Carolina’s clear-cut WR1, winning Offensive Rookie of the Year after nearly topping 1,100 receiving yards on 126 targets.

  • However, competing with Tetairoa McMillan for targets is one thing, but competing with McMillan to get a share of Bryce Young’s passing game is less tantalizing than what I’d like it to be, since Bryce’s 188 passing yards per game last year was a career high.

    Tony Martin· Jul 30
  • Tetairoa McMillan (WR – CAR) McMillan is coming off an Offensive Rookie of the Year season, but his outlook depends heavily on his quarterback and that quarterback’s offensive line, which is off to a rough start with two starting tackles already dealing with camp injuries.

  • 2025 saw the breakout of Tetairoa McMillan . McMillan claimed WR 16 overall on the season with 70 receptions, 1014 receiving yards, and seven TDs in 17 games.

  • Tetairoa McMillan (WR – CAR) | ADP: 37.7 (WR15) The Panthers should be ecstatic about pulling the trigger on Tetairoa McMillan with the eighth pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He had a stellar rookie season.

  • Yet, according to Fantasy Points Data, he had the 11th-highest receiving yards market share (30.7%) among players with at least 30 targets last year. While I like McMillan, he is overvalued as the WR14 in ADP.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 17
  • Tetairoa McMillan entered the NFL as an early-declare prospect and had 70 catches for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie. Those numbers might just scratch the surface of McMillan's capabilities.

  • McMillan commanded a 23% target share for Carolina's offense, but the main problem is that Carolina doesn't want to throw the ball and instead leans heavily on its run game to move the chains on each possession. McMillan will undoubtedly lead Carolina in targets again, but that number is hard-capped.

  • McMillan was quietly a fantasy star as a rookie despite Carolina's inconsistent passing attack, finishing as the WR15, averaging 8.3 non-PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he was the team's best weapon in the red zone, totaling seven receiving touchdowns, more than double the next closest Panther.

    Mike Fanelli· Jun 22
  • Tetairoa McMillan (15th in total WR points last year) is going for an average auction value less than their projection.

    Evan Hoovler· Jun 19
  • Tetairoa McMillan's consensus ADP is WR19, whereas he's the WR11 on MFL. As a rookie last season, McMillan led the Panthers in target share by a wide margin at 25.4%, though when Jalen Coker was on the field, McMillan's target share dropped to 18.5%. McMillan can volume his way to a respectable fantasy line, but his touchdown upside could be limited given the Panthers' third-hardest schedule and Bryce Young's poor performance against winning records.

TreVeyon Henderson
  • While fantasy players had high hopes for him as a rookie, Henderson was unstartable for most of the year, finishing as the RB21. His 12.1 PPR fantasy points per game average was lower than Kenneth Gainwell’ s (13) and Rhamondre Stevenson ‘s (12.8).

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 15
  • TreVeyon Henderson finished his rookie season as the RB24 in fantasy points per game, but it wasn’t nearly that productive for fantasy managers when you look at the full breakdown of how it unfolded. In Weeks 10-11, Rhamondre Stevenson wasn’t active, and Henderson feasted with 60.3 combined PPR points, which accounted for 29.2% of his overall fantasy production for the season.

  • TreVeyon Henderson, Trevor Lawrence, Jaxson Dart – 9 T6

  • Coming back around, I opted for TreVeyon Henderson. Of course, Rhamondre Stevenson is still on the roster, but Henderson out-carried him 180-130 (48.5% to 35%) and averaged 5.1 yards per carry. To add, he caught 35 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown.

  • Including the playoffs, Treveyon Henderson scored no more than 8.2 PPR points in six of his last seven games.

  • When Jason’s pick came, he admitted he was purposefully unhelpful in Andy’s decision-making game because he himself wanted Etienne, but settled for TreVeyon Henderson, who he considered taking in the previous round.

    Kurt Mullen· Jul 29
  • Henderson could eat into Stevenson’s workload more in 2026 if he can take another step and payoff as an RB2, but he ‘s best viewed as an upside RB3.

  • For RB2, the cutoffs land at TreVeyon Henderson and Tony Pollard respectively.

  • TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE) Henderson is currently going 58th overall, a full 20 picks ahead of his own backfield mate in the rankings. Last year’s split tells the story: while his teammate was healthy, Henderson managed just 6.6 fantasy points per game across the first eight weeks.

  • TreVeyon Henderson (NE) – ADP 53.6 | RB22 Fantasy players had high hopes for Henderson as a rookie. Unfortunately, he was unstartable for most of the year, finishing as the RB21.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 20
  • More importantly, Henderson averaged 11.3 touches and 9.5 fantasy points per game in the regular season with Stevenson healthy. By comparison, he averaged 19 touches and 24.3 fantasy points per game without the veteran playing.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 17
  • TreVeyon Henderson fits well in the Patriots' backfield as an explosive complement to Rhamondre Stevenson. However, according to the Fantasy Points Data Suite, Stevenson averaged more yards after contact per attempt and missed tackles forced per attempt than Henderson. He was also given more carries inside the 5-yard line.

    Kyle Zeigler· Jul 11
  • Without Stevenson in the lineup in Weeks 9-11, Henderson averaged 19 touches and 110 total yards. With Stevenson active, Henderson had 11.2 touches and 57.2 total yards per game. Last year, Henderson was bested by Stevenson in every metric that I care about, namely explosive run rate, missed tackle rate, yards after contact per attempt, yards per route run, and pass protection stats.

  • Henderson finished nearly dead-on with his draft placement, ending the year as the RB20. As with Harvey, it took time for the coaching staff to fully trust him and feel confident incorporating him into the game plan. Henderson didn't have a top-20 finish at the position until Week 9, and then he truly burst onto the scene.

  • Henderson is being drafted like New England's unquestioned lead back despite trailing Stevenson in missed tackles forced, yards after contact and pass-blocking reliability, which are the exact traits that keep backs on the field in every situation.
