Latest takes
“Still, Rodriguez is competing for backfield touches with second-year pro Bhayshul Tuten , and Rodriguez could realistically pace the backfield in carries or at least carve out a fantasy-friendly role as a goal-line option.”
Josh Shepardson· Aug 19“Even though I have brought his name up all offseason, calling Bhayshul Tuten a “must-have” on May 8th, he is the perfect back for this article.”
Ellis Johnson· Aug 19“Tuten is an explosive play waiting to happen. He is 5-foot-9 and 209 pounds, and ran a 4.32-second 40-yard dash at the combine.”
Ellis Johnson· Aug 11

“Round 12: Chris Rodriguez (RB – JAX) The Jaguars have Bhayshul Tuten as the primary ball-carrier, but Chris Rodriguez Jr.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 5“Bhayshul Tuten (JAC) — ECR: RB25 | Projection Rank: RB23 | Projected FPTS: 193.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 5“Last yr among 35 RBs w/ at least 25 RZ rush att (per @FantasyPtsData ) Sure… Chris Rodriguez was 6th in rushing success % & had the 13th-lowest stuff % BUT… Bhayshul Tuten was 4th BEST in rushing success % & had the 4th-lowest stuff %.”
Mike Anderson· Aug 3“Rodriguez will remain a worry for Tuten at the goal line and to his overall touch count until we see his role fleshed out this season, but if he can be the clear lead guy, he has the talent to match Etienne’s RB13 finish last year in fantasy points per game.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 28“This could be the big breakout season for Tuten, who, on a per-touch basis, flashed the immense talent that I really liked when he was in college.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 28“With Travis Etienne Jr. now in New Orleans, there are now more than 250 vacated touches in Jacksonville for Bhayshul Tuten and new running back addition Chris Rodriguez Jr.”
Ryan Kirksey· Jul 24“The Bhayshul Tuten hype train has only continued to grow this offseason. Despite the threat of newly acquired Chris Rodriguez, Tuten’s ADP has been on a steady rise this summer.”
Jonathan Lange· Jul 23“Bhayshul Tuten being ranked outside of the top 24 in half-PPR feels criminal. Yes, he will face competition from Chris Rodriguez in camp, but all signs point towards Tuten winning the starting running back role for Jacksonville.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 23“Some may call me crazy, but I call Tuten a league winner.”
Ellis Johnson· Jul 23“Bhayshul Tuten was picked almost entirely on per-touch efficiency. Among 55 qualifying running backs last year, he ranked fifth in rushing success rate and 11th in missed tackles forced, elite marks for a rookie.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 22“With Travis Etienne gone, Bhayshul Tuten will compete with Chris Rodriguez to be the lead back for the Jaguars in 2026. I want to bet on Tuten this year and his talent. Last year, Tuten was unfortunately robbed of the stretch run of his rookie season as he was sidelined by a finger injury.”
FantasyPros Staff· Jul 15“Mike sees the upside in Tuten, expecting him to be boot-scootin' up to top-end RB volume this season.”
Kemper Trull· Jul 10
“Round 14: Kyler Murray (QB – MIN) Kyler Murray is one of my favorite quarterbacks this season, and with the additional bench slots, I wanted to get him on the team behind Lamar Jackson.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 22“Round 4: Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL) I don’t find myself in many positions to take someone like Lamar Jackson, but I pulled the trigger here.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 22“But when Jackson fell to the back end of the sixth round, it was too hard to pass up. I will only draft elite QBs or TEs when they slip past ADP 90% of the time, and this was one of those spots.”

“Unfortunately, Jackson had arguably his worst season as a starter in 2025. He missed four games because of injury and played part of the year hurt. The superstar finished as the QB14 on a points-per-game basis among qualifying quarterbacks, averaging 19.8 fantasy points per contest. However, I expect a bounce-back season for Jackson, especially with Declan Doyle taking over as Baltimore’s offensive coordinator.”
Mike Fanelli· Aug 16“The Ravens dealt with Lamar Jackson being injured on and off for the year, and he still had that finish.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 11“Declan Doyle is the new offensive coordinator and early returns are favorable. He comes from the Ben Johnson coaching tree, so I think we will see them use Jackson in ways we haven’t seen before.”
Jason Kamlowsky· Aug 11“Lamar Jackson – 0.58 Most rushing TDs on fewer than 200 carries in 2025: 1”
The FF Newsletter· Aug 6“Lamar Jackson , Jayden Daniels , Joe Burrow , Baker Mayfield , and Kyler Murray all were selected as top-12 players at the position and finished double-digit slots behind expectations in terms of points per game.”
Rich Hribar· Aug 5“If Lamar Jackson can bounce back, Henry could inch back closer to his 2024 production (RB4 in fantasy points per game).”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 5“Injuries and a steep decline in rushing production cratered Lamar Jackson ‘s fantasy value in 2025. After finishing QB1 in fantasy scoring in 2024, Jackson plummeted to a QB20 fantasy finish last season and was QB16 in fantasy points per game at the position. Jackson lost three games to an early-season hamstring injury and one game to a late-season back injury.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 4“Lamar Jackson cratered many fantasy rosters in 2025. Before an early October hamstring injury, he was on pace for 3,700 passing yards, 437 rushing yards, and 47 total TDs.”
Vernon Meighan· Jul 27“The most obvious thing to consider is your positional strengths and weaknesses — trading for Lamar Jackson when you already have Josh Allen probably isn’t a good idea.”
Ted Chmyz· Jul 26“If you want an elite QB, pocket your picks for a round and a half and take Lamar Jackson, instead.”
Jeff Krisko· Jul 23“There isn’t a single drafted player on the Ravens that goes higher than I would take them, with Lamar Jackson standing out as the single best 1QB value I have ever seen if you want to get a top-two quarterback, going at pick 46, 19 picks past QB1, Josh Allen.”
Jeff Krisko· Jul 23“With plenty of time to recover from last season, Jackson is a ticking time bomb for fantasy production.”
Ellis Johnson· Jul 23
