Colston Loveland
  • Colston Loveland (TE – CHI) I know, here’s another person writing about how great Colston Loveland is.

    Ellis Johnson· Aug 11
  • Colston Loveland (TE – CHI) has real number-one-overall tight end upside, not just top-12.

  • In Weeks 16-20, he exploded as the Bears’ WR1 with a 25.6% target share, 81.6 receiving yards per game, 2.49 yards per route run, a 34% first-read share, 0.116 first downs per route run, and 17.2 PPR points per game (per Fantasy Points Data). If Loveland had produced like that over the course of the entire season, he would have given Trey McBride a run for his money as the TE1 in fantasy. Last year, those numbers, among all tight ends with at least 20 targets, would have ranked first, first, fourth, first, fourth, and second.

  • Colston Loveland (CHI) — TE3, Overall RK41, Bye: 10 The 10th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, Colston Loveland put together an impressive rookie season that got better and better as it wore on.

  • Mike ended the round taking his fourth different position of this draft and going with Bears TE Colston Loveland .

    Kurt Mullen· Jul 29
  • Sleeper lists Trey McBride at $34, Brock Bowers for $27, and Colston Loveland at a shamefully low $18.

    Evan Hoovler· Jul 24
  • Round 3: Colston Loveland (TE – CHI) Colston Loveland is currently going closer to the fourth round in ADP, but the case here is that he’ll settle into a firm third-round price by the time draft season peaks, similar to how the market was slow to catch up on Trey McBride ‘s ascension a year ago.

  • Loveland is the type of talent who can win downfield, which is exactly what you want from your fantasy tight end. As Caleb Williams heads into Year 2 of the Ben Johnson era, expect more familiarity with the scheme, which can help Loveland eclipse 1,000 yards.

  • Colston Loveland turned it on down the stretch last year, showcasing impressive production from Week 7 through Chicago's Divisional Round loss with 67% route participation, 6.9 targets per game, 65 receptions, 852 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns across 14 games. If his 72.4% route participation rate from the playoffs sticks or takes a step forward, Loveland can be less efficient while still posting monster numbers, putting the overall TE1 in his range of outcomes.

  • Loveland clearly won the favor of Ben Johnson as he had at least 15% of the team's targets in each of the final nine games, ending with 713 total receiving yards. It was a strong showing for the rookie TE, who could very likely lead the team in targets in 2026.

  • Colston Loveland was also in a rotational role for the first 7 weeks, but got his first chance at a full-time role due to Cole Kmet's injury in Week 8. He had a breakout game one week later vs. the Bengals and gradually increased his playing time over the remainder of the season, finally emerging as a true every-down player at the end of the year.

  • Even in a split season of work as a rookie, Loveland showcased his weekly upside. He logged four weeks as a top-three scorer at the position. The only player to match that was Trey McBride, who led the position with eight of those weeks.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 8
  • It took a bit for Loveland to get going as a rookie as he worked his way into the lineup and recovered from an offseason shoulder injury, but the wait was worth it. Over the final five games of the season, Loveland was on the field for 80.9% of the team's dropbacks, receiving a target on 30.5% of his routes with 2.34 yards per route run.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 8
  • Even though he managed just 53 receptions and 713 yards as a rookie, Loveland was fourth at his position in air yards and third in deep targets. If that kind of usage on the field keeps up, Loveland is going to be looking at a ton of deep catches and touchdowns.

    Ryan Kirksey· Jul 7
  • Colston Loveland started his rookie year slowly but was TE2 in fantasy scoring from Week 9 through the end of the regular season. Over his last four games, the hyper-athletic Loveland averaged 12.0 targets, 7.0 catches, and 94.5 yards, with two touchdowns.

Brock Bowers
  • Brock Bowers has been fantastic since he entered the NFL. He dealt with injuries last season, but was unstoppable when healthy.

  • Starting WR/WR with Drake London or Nico Collins in round two could let you lean into Zero RB with an elite tight end such as Brock Bowers or Trey McBride .

    Tom Strachan· Aug 11
  • If limited to the 10 final starts, which include two games against the Broncos and a game against the Seahawks, 230 yards per game given the limited receiving options outside of Brock Bowers is a lofty target.

  • Brock Bowers (TE – LV) is a long-shot dark horse for Offensive Player of the Year.

  • Despite playing on one leg for the entire season, Bowers still ranked 13th in yards per route run and first downs per route run last season (per Fantasy Points Data). To understand Bowers’ 2026 upside and talent, we need to rewind to 2024 when he was the TE3 in fantasy points per game. During that season, he was seventh in target per route run rate, sixth in yards per route run, third in receiving yards per game, second in first read share, and seventh in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data).

  • Well, here we are… Brock Bowers is hands down the fantasy TE1.

  • Brock Bowers (TE – LV) Brock Bowers was injured a lot last season, and the quarterback situation was poor

  • Round 4: Brock Bowers (TE – LV) Brock Bowers dealt with injuries last season, but assuming he stays healthy this season, he should be in for a TE1-caliber season.

  • I’m certainly willing to spend early-round draft capital on Brock Bowers , who’s capable of putting up the sort of numbers the elite wide receivers produce, or Colston Loveland , who turned into a monster late in his rookie season.

  • Loveland is the consensus TE3 for 2026 fantasy drafts behind only Brock Bowers and Trey McBride .

  • Neither should be drafted this high. Last season, McBride averaged 18.6 PPR points per game, and Bowers averaged 15.5 in 2024, the better season of his two years in the NFL.

    Tom Strachan· Jul 27
  • Everyone loves receiving a well-considered offer; nobody likes being offered a mediocre tight end when they already have Brock Bowers.

    Ted Chmyz· Jul 26
  • Sleeper lists Trey McBride at $34, Brock Bowers for $27, and Colston Loveland at a shamefully low $18.

    Evan Hoovler· Jul 24
  • I had the pleasure of facing Brock Bowers in Week 9 of the 2025 season when he put up 127 yards, three TDs, and 43.3 fantasy points. Truthfully, Zach Ertz was never going to give me that kind of week at this point in his career, and that’s exactly my point. At TE, you are drafting for positional advantage just as much as raw production.

    Brooke Morgan· Jul 22
  • Brock Bowers finished the season as the TE8 in PPR leagues, and while that’s fantastic for most, he was the TE1 as a rookie, so this was a noticeable step back. Bowers played in just 12 games last season, which included Weeks 1-4 and Weeks 9-16. For fantasy football, he missed Weeks 5-8 and Week 17.
