“Hampton’s snap share has dropped from a peak of 63% to 35% against Seattle, and he only saw 11 total opportunities this week. He has only five targets through four games, and yet TDs in three of four games have him sitting at RB21 in full-PPR for the season. I have less confidence in this team every week, and I think we could see some real stinkers from Hampton if they continue the three-headed rushing attack strategy.”

That easily could happen this week against Seattle. The Seahawks’ run defense also is no joke, as they have allowed the third-lowest explosive run rate, the third-lowest rushing success rate, and the sixth-lowest missed tackle rate.”

“While Omarion Hampton has been the lead back, he hasn’t come close to justifying his early second-round price tag over three weeks. Keaton Mitchell is eating into some of those high-value touches (not that the Chargers get many), and Hampton’s limited receiving role is capping his fantasy ceiling even further. If drafting today, I wouldn’t consider Hampton until the middle of the fourth round.”
