Latest takes

Bijan Robinson
  • Robinson is just as good as everyone thought he'd be coming out of Texas. The problem for the Falcons is exactly what everyone thought as well: they don't have the infrastructure to maximize Robinson's talents.

    Ethan Woodie· Jul 11
  • Robinson had a pitiful 49.3% red zone rushing share. With Allgeier and the previous coaching staff gone, Robinson should enjoy more usage near paydirt in 2026.

  • Last year, Bijan Robinson was the RB2 in fantasy points per game. Robinson was incredibly efficient with his workload last season, which is a reflection of his insane talent. He finished top-three among running backs (minimum 100 carries, 20 targets) in receiving yards per game, target share, yards per route run, first downs per route run, missed tackles forced per attempt, and yards after contact per attempt.

  • The receiving game is where Robinson made huge strides last season. After 487 and 431 yards receiving to open his career, Robinson accrued 820 yards through the air last season. After 24 air yards in 2023 and -21 air yards in 2024, Robinson had 101 air yards last season.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 7
  • Robinson was sensational in his third season, racking up a league-high 2,298 yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns on 366 touches. He saved his best for fantasy gamers to end the season, going bonkers in the fantasy postseason. In Week 15, Robinson racked up 175 total yards and a score on 27 touches. In Week 16, he had 168 yards and a score on 23 touches. In Week 17, he posted 229 yards and 2 touchdowns on 27 touches.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 7
  • Robinson hasn't missed a game since he entered the NFL and led the league in yards from scrimmage last season with 2,298. He ranked second among running backs in receiving yards, trailing only Christian McCaffrey. The biggest knock against Robinson is that we saw many short-yardage carries go to Tyler Allgeier in the red zone, but we no longer have to worry about that now that Allgeier is in Arizona.

  • Last year's PPR RB2 in fantasy points per game, and now free from Tyler Allgeier, Bijan Robinson feels primed to take a big step forward in 2026. Robinson led the league in missed tackles forced (75), with 27 more than any other player, while also ranking in the top five in rushing yards, explosive run rate and yards per carry, while topping the league in yards after contact per attempt (3.06). Where Robinson can take the leap is simple — touchdowns. Robinson scored only seven rushing touchdowns, which resulted in the lowest touchdown rate (2.4%) among the top seven running backs in fantasy.

    Tom Strachan· Jul 3
  • Robinson will no longer have to contend with Tyler Allgeier for snaps; instead, he gets the far less imposing Brian Robinson Jr. as the RB2. The runway is wide open for Bijan to capture even more redzone opportunities without Allgeier in the fold.

  • Allgeier is familiar with backing up an elite running back prospect, as he shared time with Bijan Robinson in Atlanta for three seasons.

  • Bijan Robinson is the top taken player according to Yahoo's mock auction data. He is projected to have a value of $62, meaning Yahoo thinks $62 is a spot-on price for what his stats are projected to be. But Bijan is going for an average auction value of $71.4. That's over 15% higher than his projection!

    Evan Hoovler· Jun 19
  • Where Robinson can take the leap is simple — touchdowns. Robinson scored only seven rushing touchdowns, which resulted in the lowest touchdown rate (2.4%) among the top seven running backs in fantasy.

    Tom Strachan· Jun 6
  • Gainwell ranked fourth among all backs in receptions in 2025, trailing only the dual-threat elites of Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs.

    Ted Chmyz· May 25
  • Bijan Robinson got the nod at 1.01 here. Worm pointed directly to Atlanta's new play caller and Robinson's elite talent profile as the deciding factors. Even in a three-receiver league where someone like Ja'Marr Chase could easily justify the top spot, Robinson's combination of workload and explosiveness ultimately won out.

  • Atlanta's coaching changes could finally unlock the every-down role fantasy managers have been waiting for. Robinson has already produced elite numbers despite sharing goal-line work in previous seasons. If that usage shifts fully in his favor, he could challenge for the overall RB1 finish in fantasy football.

  • Bijan Robinson's fifth-year option is valued at $11.3 million and has not yet been exercised as of March 21, 2026.

Brock Bowers
  • Brock Bowers is my favorite target of the entire draft. I think that he belongs in the first round, but you can get him in the second.

  • Bowers is primed for a huge season with upgrades at quarterback and play-caller.

    Kurt Blakeway· Jul 10
  • Even with last year's injury, Bowers has averaged 64.6 receiving yards per game to open his career. That is fourth all-time at the position through two seasons and the most since Kellen Winslow Sr. in 1979 and 1980.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 8

  • Bowers caught 64 passes for 680 yards and 7 touchdowns in his second season. Over that span, Bowers accounted for 24.5% of the team's targets (TE4), 27.4% of the air yards (TE2), and was on the field for a league-high 93.1% of the dropbacks.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 8
  • Bowers has had to produce despite some of the worst quarterback play in the NFL during the first two seasons of his career. The Raiders appear to be in a much better position offensively this season, however. Whether it's veteran Kirk Cousins or Fernando Mendoza under center, the quarterback room projects to be an upgrade. On top of that, the hiring of Klint Kubiak as head coach should bring more volume to the superstar tight end.

  • Bowers came into the NFL as one of the most highly regarded TE prospects of all time and had 112 catches for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns on 153 targets as a rookie while playing with QBs Gardner Minshew, Aidan O'Connell and Desmond Ridder. Injuries kept Bowers from big things in 2025, but he should have a monster 2026 season as the top target earner in what should be an improved Raiders offense.

  • Brock Bowers lead the way as the top candidates to finish above 200 fantasy points (half-PPR). With the league shifting towards TE-heavy offensive sets, we could see snaps across the position skyrocket.

  • Managers consistently overpay for superstars early (the curse of Brock Bowers in 2025). A star player like Bowers is going to cost a lot early in the season, especially if you are playing with inexperienced or uninformed chopped players.

  • The passing game will also get a lift from a healthier Brock Bowers. The team's top pass-catching weapon suffered a PCL injury and a bone bruise in his knee in Week 1 and played through the injury for three weeks before shutting it down until Week 9.

  • Bowers, meanwhile, is onto his third quarterback in three years and will be hoping that Fernando Mendoza adjusts quickly to the NFL.

    Tom Strachan· Jun 30
  • I've had the best results getting my starting RBs from this stage, a solid, back-end top 12 WR, and Brock Bowers if he's going for somewhere near the mid $30s.

    Evan Hoovler· Jun 29
  • Bowers was plagued by injuries last season. He played through a couple of lingering injuries at the start of the season, and ultimately ended his season after 12 games.

    Ellis Johnson· Jun 29
  • Everyone is expecting the Raiders' rookie QB to pepper Bowers as he gets his feet wet. Expect to pay a premium for the top-ranked TE, this year.

    Evan Hoovler· Jun 25
  • Bowers is worth a look in the back half of the second round or early in the third round of 12-team fantasy drafts.

  • Pat Fitzmaurice compared Bowers' potential fantasy edge to the advantage Travis Kelce provided during his peak seasons. Even as a rookie, Bowers posted elite receiving numbers and finished among the league leaders in targets, receptions, and receiving yards across all pass catchers.
