Expert takes
“However, the touchdowns could run exclusively through Gibbs. He’s finally freed from the clutches of a committee with David Montgomery leaving town, and Detroit has one of the highest totals on the slate. While I wouldn’t be overweight on Gibbs this week, he does need to be included in your player pool for the pure slate-breaking potential that would leave your lineups null and void if you don’t have any shares.”
Tera Roberts· Sep 12, 2026“Lions In the first game without RB David Montgomery , Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs had 34 total touches for 186 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in the team’s win over the Saints. Lions HC Dan Campbell admitted using Gibbs that much isn’t ideal, but he wants to do whatever it takes to win. Campbell also feels Gibbs’ elite conditioning allows this, though he was clear they will monitor his health.”
Logan Ulrich· Sep 14, 2026“Gibbs is the team’s unquestioned bell cow, but if it wants more established depth at the position, it could dip into free agency. The Lions held a late-August visit with Kareem Hunt , Pacheco’s former teammate in Kansas City, though it is unclear if he is still on their radar.”

“Stop me if you’ve heard this one before – Jahmyr Gibbs is really, really good. The top selection in fantasy this year, Gibbs rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries, also bringing in five receptions for 30 yards as a receiver. An increased workload occurred due to this game heading into overtime, but head coach Dan Campbell seems confident that Gibbs can shoulder this many touches as necessary, though it isn’t ideal.”
Evan Tarracciano· Sep 14, 2026“Ownership Notes Quarterback Jared Goff 11.7%: Detroit carries one of the highest team totals, but Gibbs can steal the TDs.”
Chris Cash· Sep 12, 2026“In the 25 career games in which Gibbs has played 60% or more of the team snaps, he has averaged 20.3 PPR points per game.”
Rich Hribar· Sep 12, 2026“For example, Jahmyr Gibbs finished last season with 328.4 total fantasy points , which should tell you just about everything you need to know about the kind of production he is capable of bringing to your team.”
Brooke Morgan· Sep 4, 2026“01 this year is Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs . It’s tough to push back too hard against this stance; Gibbs is an amazing back.”
Kyle Lesti· Aug 29, 2026“Jahmyr Gibbs has scored at least 10 rushing touchdowns every year of his career and is coming off a 77-catch season.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 21, 2026“Gibbs will and should be a top 3-5 pick in every fantasy draft this year.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 14, 2026“Jahmyr Gibbs has never finished with fewer than 11 touchdowns in any of his three seasons and has caught no fewer than 52 passes.”
Richard Janvrin· Aug 12, 2026“Before splitting the backfield with Jahmyr Gibbs , who is currently the highest-paid running back in the league, Montgomery handled more than 200 carries in each of his first five NFL seasons.”
Curtis Hirsch· Aug 11, 2026“The Case for Jahmyr Gibbs The fantasy arc for Gibbs is quite similar to Robinson’s.”
Kyle Zeigler· Aug 10, 2026
“With Atlanta limping into this contest on their third-string quarterback, fantasy managers knew that Bijan Robinson was going to be in-line for a major workload against Pittsburgh. Check that box. Robinson led Atlanta in both rushing (21 carries for 83 yards) and receiving (eight receptions on 10 targets for 90 yards and a touchdown).”
Evan Tarracciano· Sep 14, 2026“RB Receiving Usage *Data from PFF Bijan Robinson is on another planet in terms of usage. He saw 62% of Atlanta’s total rush attempts and targets on the day, the highest rate of his career! Looking at the Buccaneers backfield, Bucky Irving was not usurped by any means by Kenneth Gainwell .”
Kyle Borgognoni· Sep 14, 2026“However, the literal majority of those yards came from dumpoffs to Bijan Robinson, who finished with 90 yards (mostly on catch-and-runs) on ten targets. That leaves, if you can do the math: 53 passing yards on 12 targets that went to the rest of the team. Unfortunately for managers who drafted them, Drake London and Kyle Pitts combined for two catches for 29 yards on five targets.”

“We’ve seen Robinson put up strong fantasy performances with subpar quarterbacks, and Rush should be checkdown-friendly.”
Tera Roberts· Sep 12, 2026“Jonathan Taylor , Derrick Henry , Jahmyr Gibbs , and Bijan Robinson could all threaten 300 rush attempts, making them excellent candidates to become the 2026 NFL rushing yards leader.”
Curtis Hirsch· Sep 2, 2026“Bijan Robinson (RB – ATL) Robinson has been a fantasy star since entering the NFL, posting a top-nine PPR finish every year of his career. Furthermore, the former Texas star finished as the RB3 in 2024 and the RB2 last season despite totaling only seven rushing touchdowns.”
Mike Fanelli· Aug 27, 2026“Robinson is my favorite bet to be the RB1 overall in 2026.”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 14, 2026“Last year, Bijan Robinson was the RB2 in fantasy points per game. For most of the season, he was pacing towards a 1,000-yard season for rushing and receiving before tailing off at the end of the season (820 receiving yards).”
FantasyPros Staff· Aug 14, 2026“Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson is the top overall player on my board and should see a spike in goal-line rushing work with Tyler Allgeier finally gone.”
Mike Fanelli· Aug 12, 2026“The Case for Bijan Robinson Since entering the league in 2023, Robinson has established himself as an elite running back.”
Kyle Zeigler· Aug 10, 2026“Bijan Robinson got a new deal recently now it's Taylor's turn”
FFToday· Aug 6, 2026“As is the case with Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson has an opportunity to highly benefit from more time on the field in 2026.”
Steve Krebs· Jul 23, 2026“The No. 1 overall player based on PlayerProfiler’s Lifetime Value Metric is Jahmyr Gibbs with a value of 392.9. In case you were wondering, Bijan Robinson is second with 373.30.”
Jonathan Lange· Jul 21, 2026“Robinson is just as good as everyone thought he'd be coming out of Texas. The problem for the Falcons is exactly what everyone thought as well: they don't have the infrastructure to maximize Robinson's talents.”
Ethan Woodie· Jul 11, 2026
