With Harrison coming off back-to-back 1,200-yard, 14-touchdown seasons at Ohio State, many were underwhelmed when he only logged 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 62 catches as a rookie in the NFL. Honestly, though, Harrison wasn’t far off pace with some of his fellow receivers taken in the top four picks of the draft.”

As Jacoby Brissett scrambles to extend the play, Harrison fails to work back to his QB, forcing an unnecessary throwaway on what should have been an easy scramble-drill completion. For better or worse, it’s not one issue that’s holding Harrison back, but a layer of factors. Head Coach Mike LaFleur has been questioned about Harrison’s role, as he’s primarily operated as an outside X receiver with little movement or motion to free him up.”

“Harrison has the same number of drops as catches (one apiece) and has been targeted just four times in two games. Robinson notes the upcoming trade deadline might be the last chance for the Cardinals to get anything of substance for Harrison, and even then his trade market could be tepid. “I’m not writing off Marvin Harrison Jr. yet. Yes, he’ll compete with Trey McBride for targets, but Harrison should see a target share of 20% or better.”

“Harrison is still just 24 and Arizona is going to have to throw the ball a lot. Jacoby Brissett is not capable of leading them to the playoffs, but he is capable of putting up solid fantasy numbers.”

“Harrison is not the player we had hoped for when he was drafted. However, there is plenty of room for him to be a steady WR2 with WR1 potential if he cleans up his game.”

Hindsight being 20-20, we probably shouldn’t have put so much stock in Jonathon Brooks , a player with multiple ACL tears who had nine career rush attempts into this season. Brooks is now back on injured reserve (IR) following a core-muscle surgery, and Hubbard has performed well in his absence.”

“With Jonathon Brooks on IR, Hubbard is the only ticket in town and should see a three-down workload for a while. Turning to Tuten, some naysayers still see this Jacksonville backfield as a timeshare, despite the sophomore back seeing over 60% of RB touches and essentially all the meaningful red zone work. Chances are, if your league mates had The Fantasy Footballers Ultimate Draft Kit, they won’t sell Bhayshul on the cheap…but if they still haven’t fully bought into his potential and are in need of a wideout, then dangling Denver’s WR1 in front of their face could just seal the deal.”

While this isn’t an exciting target because Bryce Young is still the quarterback, Hubbard is a good fit at his cost if you need an RB2. We just watched the Panthers come back to earth against the Browns, scoring only 18 points and looking anemic on offense.”

“Chuba Hubbard has out-snapped and out-touched Brooks when both were healthy. Hubbard is in line for bell cow usage, with the Panthers likely sprinkling in AJ Dillon . Jonah Coleman | RB, Denver Broncos (OUT) – Coleman looked like he was on the verge of establishing himself as a key cog in the Broncos’ rushing attack after posting 14.8 fantasy points last week.”

Among 43 qualifying backs, Hubbard ranks 17th in yards after contact per attempt and 15th in missed tackle rate. Hubbard should have another strong outing against a run defense that has allowed the sixth-highest explosive run rate, the fourth-highest rushing success rate, and the tenth-highest missed tackle rate.”
