Jalen Hurts
  • Two early draft targets are Jayden Daniels and Jalen Hurts.

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 14
  • Jalen Hurts is the 1st player in NFL history with a TD pass, a rushing TD & a passer rating of 115+ in 3 straight games 🤯

  • Jalen Hurts is one of the only quarterbacks outside of Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen who can produce in the passing game and explode in the rushing game. He may not be the best NFL quarterback, but he is great for fantasy.

    Ellis Johnson· Aug 11

  • This puts immobile pocket passers like Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford on a more even footing with Jayden Daniels and Jalen Hurts .

  • Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) offers access to elite quarterback play at a real discount.

  • David Montgomery, Tyler Allgeier, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Kareem Hunt, Jalen Hurts – 8 Jordan Love is the only QB in the last decade to:

  • He is also connected to Jalen Hurts , who many doubt as a passer

  • 180.8 | WR70 While he missed eight games last season with a toe injury, Purdy was the QB6 on a points-per-game basis, averaging 19.7 fantasy points per contest, a higher average than Jalen Hurts (18.7) and Dak Prescott (18.5)

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 6
  • Of the top-10 scorers overall in 2025, only Allen, Nix, and Jalen Hurts were selected as top-10 picks.

    Rich Hribar· Aug 5
  • Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) One of the most severely underrated quarterbacks heading into the 2026 NFL season is Jalen Hurts.

  • For Hurts to be a midrange QB1 or better, he’ll have to put up big rushing numbers, and we saw his rushing numbers decline last year. After four straight years of double-digit TD runs, with an average of 13 rushing touchdowns a season over that stretch, Hurts had eight TD runs last year. The Eagles had faithfully used the “tush push” every time they got inside the opponent’s 2-yard line in recent years.

  • At his midrange QB1 price, Hurts has to deliver significant rushing value to give you a satisfying return on investment. Because let’s face it: Hurts has been a pretty average passer. Hurts has never had a 4,000-yard passing season.

  • Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) One analyst has been aggressively targeting Hurts this year, a name that generates little draft-day excitement, which is exactly what makes him appealing. He’s currently being drafted in the QB10-to-QB11 range in single-quarterback leagues, worse than his consensus QB6 ranking, with reports of him falling as far as QB9 or 15 spots past his listed ADP in real drafts.

  • It is reasonable to say that Hurts probably will not be a top-three guy moving forward with the decrease in rushing, but we are betting on his rushing TDs to come back up past double digits and put him in a position to score more fantasy points. Right now his ADP is fair, and you can be comfortable taking him in the sixth round.

    Maggie Thraen· Jul 25
  • Unfortunately, Hurts averaged 18.7 fantasy points per game last year, posting an average below 20.8 for the first time in his career as the full-time starter despite totaling a career-high 25 passing touchdowns. However, Hurts’ rushing production regressed, totaling single-digit rushing touchdowns for the first time since his rookie season.

Kyle Pitts
  • 10.04: Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL) This seems late for Pitts, but the concerns about the quarterback play in Atlanta are giving his stock a hit. That is a legitimate concern, but it should be noted that Tua Tagovailoa was able to get Mike Gesicki and Jonnu Smith career seasons.

  • There are compelling midrange options such as Sam LaPorta and Kyle Pitts .

  • isn’t exactly encouraging, but Kyle Pitts led the team in target share last season at 22.7%

  • Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL) The Falcons’ quarterback situation with a nicked-up Tua Tagovailoa and an injured Michael Penix Jr

  • Those are all elite numbers, and if Pitts had put up those stats all year, especially the fantasy points per game, he would have been the TE1 for fantasy. The problem is that with Drake London active, Pitts had a 19% target share, 42.2 receiving yards per game, 1.43 yards per route run, a 20.2% first-read share, 0.093 first downs per route run, and 9.6 fantasy points per game. All of those per route metrics were still quite strong, but the fantasy points per game mark would have made Pitts the TE20 last year.

  • Last year, Kyle Pitts had a tale of two seasons. Yes, overall it was a wonderful year as the TE5 in fantasy points per game and easily his best statistical season since his rookie year, but it was wildly different with Drake London in and out of the lineup. Without London, Pitts had a 26.7% target share with 84.4 receiving yards per game, 2.81 yards per route run, a 27.8% first-read share, 0.120 first downs per route run, and 19 fantasy points per game (per Fantasy Points Data).

  • Schultz finished tied with Jake Ferguson for third among tight ends in receptions behind only Trey McBride and Kyle Pitts . Schultz finished sixth among TEs in receiving yards.

  • Atlanta used the franchise tag to retain Pitts before reaching a three-year extension, making him the fourth highest-paid TE in the league. Pitts was “drafted to be great,” and 2025 saw Pitts return to high levels of production.

  • Kyle Pitts finished as the TE2 with just 9.8 fantasy points per game — the LOWEST ever for a TE2.

  • Overvalued: Kyle Pitts, Tight End (TE7, Pick 81 Overall) Pitts finished last season with 118 targets, 88 receptions, 928 yards, and five touchdowns. Many peg this as his breakout season, as he finally cracked out of the mediocrity of his last three seasons and came close to kissing the heights he reached in his first year. I, however, am bearish on his chances of returning to his top-five TE (TE2 OVR, TE5 per game) 2025 campaign.

    Jeff Krisko· Jul 22
  • Pitts, who finished as the second-highest scoring tight end in 2025, is often still grouped outside of the top four of his position. I’d advocate asking about his availability.

  • The TE2 overall ( Kyle Pitts ) produced only 66.7% of McBride’s total scoring output. That is the largest disparity of TE2 scoring compared to the TE1 in any season ever.

    Rich Hribar· Jul 17
  • Kyle Pitts of the Falcons caught 25(!) more passes on only 116 targets and a 21.3% share.

  • Now, Pitts gets Kevin Stefanski as his head coach, a hire that should help him continue to blossom given Stefanski's track record with tight ends. He also has a pretty promising schedule, especially in the fantasy playoffs.

  • Pitts is coming off his best fantasy season yet, finishing as the TE2 in total fantasy points scored. On a per-game basis, he averaged 12.4 fantasy points (TE4). With a brand new three-year, $54 million contract, Pitts is now one of the highest-paid tight ends in the league.
