“Hurts is not a good enough passer to warrant starting in your lineup if there is no rushing floor, and now there is a solid 10-game sample size suggesting that those days may be behind him. DeVonta Smith , Makai Lemon , Dallas Goedert , and the rest of Philadelphia’s pass-catchers all take a significant dip for the rest of the season. McKee could provide for them, but not as well as a healthy Hurts with a good offensive system around him.”

“While it is true that Woody Marks is averaging more yards per carry (3.5 to 2.7), Montgomery is tied with Ashton Jeanty and Quinshon Judkins for the fewest yards per carry before contact among qualified backs (1.7). It's a laughably bad number and a byproduct of how bad the blocking has been on his runs. Marks will have some flex value while Montgomery is out, but it's hard to imagine he'll do any more with the opportunity than he did last year.”

“After opening the season with 20 carries, 79 scrimmage yards, and three touchdowns, Montgomery has averaged nine carries and 36 scrimmage yards over his last three games, without scoring a touchdown in any of them. Even worse, Montgomery has turned his 47 carries this season into just 127 rushing yards — a miserable 2.7 yards per carry — and Woody Marks stole Houston’s lone rushing touchdown on Sunday. The workload is shrinking, the efficiency isn’t there and the touchdowns that were masking both problems have disappeared.”
