“Among 30 qualifying passers, Daniels has the fifth-fewest yards per attempt, the ninth-lowest passing success rate, the fourth-lowest catchable target rate, and the third-lowest hero throw rate. He’ll have to get a ton of his fantasy production from his legs again this week against the 49ers. The 49ers pass defense has been a shutdown unit this season, allowing the third-fewest yards per attempt, the eighth-lowest passing success rate, and the seventh-lowest CPOE.”

It was his non-throwing elbow, so it less concerning for his passing, but you have to wonder if it would discourage Daniels from running as much as he normally does. Daniels is great at avoiding big hits most of the time when running; however, knowing that one wrong move could end his season could give him pause before taking off.”

“We are waiting on word for Terry McLaurin , but if Daniels is ready to roll, he is an upside option on the QB1/QB2 line . The Giants rank last in the NFL in pressure rate (22.1%) and will not have Brian Burns for the rest of the season, but they have allowed only one QB1 scoring week through four games. They have faced Cam Ward (9.4 points) and Jacoby Brissett (10.4 points), but that also includes holding Dak Prescott to 14.4 points and 5.1 yards per pass attempt.”
