Javonte Williams
  • ” – Aaron St Denis ( Fantasy Sports Advice Network ) Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) “If I end up with a late pick, Javonte Williams is the running back I’m targeting when I get to Round 3. Last year, he was awesome in his first year with Dallas, racking up 1,338 total yards and scoring 13 touchdowns.

  • Last season, Williams handled 252 carries for 1,201 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also caught 35 passes for 137 yards and two more touchdowns. Without any running back reinforcements and with him still on a high-powered Cowboys offense, I have no reason to believe his production will dip all too much.

  • Javonte Williams is coming off a season with more than 1,200 rushing yards and is in a high-powered offense.

  • Round 5: Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) The Cowboys didn’t add any more depth to their running back room this offseason.

  • Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) Last year, Javonte Williams was a massive surprise in fantasy football to everyone, including me.

  • Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) Going as the RB16, 34th overall, one analyst has him as a top-12 back and would consider taking him as early as round two, though round three works just as well.

  • Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) was actually the RB1 in fantasy points per game last year, yet he’s being drafted like a mid-tier RB2 this year.

  • Round 5: DeVonta Smith (WR – PHI) Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams was staring me in the face, but with a FLEX spot still available in a PPR league, I couldn’t pass up DeVonta Smith .

  • Thus, I went with a fairly safe RB2 in Javonte Williams. Williams had a massive share of the running back carries last season and caught 35 passes. He’ll approach nearly 300 touches this season and is on a high-powered offense.

  • RB10 RB23 RB19 Javonte Williams RB11 RB19 RB17 Ashton Jeanty RB12 RB8 RB6 Team Success Another takeaway from last season is that while team success is ideal for increasing red-zone opportunities and valuable carries inside the five-yard line, it is not necessary to finish as a top-tier RB.

  • Biggest Differences in ADP vs Fantasy Finish RB 2025 ADP 2025 Finish Differential Javonte Williams 41 11 30 Travis Etienne Jr .

  • Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) Williams was one of the best fantasy football draft values last season. Despite being the RB36 in ADP, the former North Carolina star ended the year as the RB12, averaging 15.2 PPR fantasy points per game.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 25
  • This, combined with the decent running game by Javonte Williams , makes taking them both at their current ADP a no-brainer.

    Maggie Thraen· Jul 25
  • Javonte Williams among RBs last season: • 896 yards after contact (6th) • 54 missed tackles forced (7th) • 11 rushing touchdowns (8th)

  • Javonte Williams was highly efficient last season, but the Cowboys were often playing from behind, so he couldn’t get to his ceiling. This season, with a full year of Quinnen Williams , along with stud rookies Caleb Downs and Malachi Lawrence , the Cowboys should be much improved.

De'Von Achane
  • De’Von Achane (RB – MIA) Last season, De’Von Achane exceeded his previous career-high of 907 rushing yards by 443 rushing yards (1,350). He surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career while hitting 85+ targets for the second consecutive year.

    Tom Strachan· Aug 29
  • De’Von Achane behind a terrible Miami offensive line was still a top-12 RB because his speed and elusiveness turned poor blocks into big plays.

  • Achane was one of five running backs to average over 20 PPR fantasy points per game last year (20.2). However, he was the most dependent of the five on his role in the passing game to hit that fantasy points-per-contest mark.

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 14

  • De’Von Achane (MIA) — ECR: RB10 | Projection Rank: RB6 | Projected FPTS: 259.

  • But Achane will be sailing into some fierce headwinds this year. The Dolphins’ Vegas win total for 2026 was 4.5 as of this writing – and it was juiced toward the under. Miami’s offensive line is expected to be among the worst in the league.

  • There’s no denying that Achane is an abundantly talented player and a fun watch. He’s averaged 5.6 yards per carry for his career, he’s scored double-digit touchdowns in each of his first three NFL seasons, and he’s had 145 catches over the last two years. Achane finished RB5 in half-point PPR scoring last year.

  • This is where I tell you that I am in on De’Von Achane, their only player going inside the top-130 by average draft position. Some fear him, but his downside is baked into his cost. I have him as my RB3 and I actively recommend him.

    Jeff Krisko· Aug 3
  • Achane has had a major downgrade in team context. For one, Mike McDaniel is no longer calling plays.

  • Players such as Christian McCaffrey , Jahmyr Gibbs , Bijan Robinson and De’Von Achane all cleared 60 receptions last season. They produce in every phase of the game.

  • For those who are worried about De'Von Achane and the Miami offense struggling so much that he will not be productive, maybe just look back at 2025, when the Dolphins struggled… and he wasn't one of the most consistent RBs in fantasy; he was THE most consistent RB in fantasy. Achane can get it done on the ground and in the air, so regardless of game script, he is a blessing for most fantasy teams.

    Colt Williams· Jul 13
  • Achane is one of the best backs in the league and just got a massive payday.

    Ethan Woodie· Jul 11
  • Another pleasant surprise was having De'Von Achane fall to me. Having him fall to the second half of the second round, with his average draft position (ADP) anywhere from 10-15, is crazy.

    Kurt Blakeway· Jul 10
  • Among 43 running backs with at least 150 touches last season, De'Von Achane was second in yards per touch (6.0), sixth in scrimmage yards (1,838), and first in runs that gained 10-plus yards (16.8%).

  • It's hard, though, not to be concerned that his numbers in the receiving game could dip significantly without Tua Tagovailoa, having averaged five targets per game with him and 2.45 without him. The offense has no weapons, and if they can't move the ball and stay on the field, it could be catastrophic for Achane's value.

    Tom Strachan· Jun 30
  • Malik Willis, however, could impact Achane's targets due to his propensity to break from the pocket. This tendency will rob Achane of the checkdown volume that he enjoyed with Tua Tagoviloa under center.
