Jameson Williams
  • Jameson Williams (WR – DET) | ADP: 57.2 (WR26) Last season, Jameson Williams quietly finished as the WR12, showing what a down year it was at the wide receiver position.

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 29
  • Jameson Williams (WR – DET) “ Jameson Williams has probably been my most frequently drafted player. Don’t write off Williams’ late-season surge in 2025 as a byproduct of TE Sam LaPorta ‘s back injury.

  • While Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland are popular breakout candidates, Odunze could easily have a Jameson Williams -like top-12 finish if he sees the same 7.5 targets per game as he did last season. Christian Watson (WR – GB) | ADP: 71.2 ( WR 30) Last season, Christian Watson was the WR15 on a points-per-game basis among wide receivers with at least nine games played.

  • Jameson Williams (WR – DET) | Over 1,028 Receiving Yards + Over 208.4 Fantasy Points We close out our recommendations with a player who’s sure to be completely overlooked because of his name rather than his production. Jameson Williams finished last season with 65 receptions and turned that into 1,100 yards.

    Steve Krebs· Aug 25
  • Getting Jameson Williams as my WR2 feels great. I think he scores a bit more in standard scoring due to his big-play ability, and we don’t have to rely on high volume like in PPR.

    Kurt Blakeway· Aug 23
  • Perhaps the ceiling gets capped slightly if Jameson Williams trends upwards and Sam LaPorta is healthier, but the Lions were bad last season, and the most important thing is that they might have a competent play-caller once again in Drew Petzing. The team has said they want to lean into what Jared Goff does best by using play-action passes heavily.

    Tom Strachan· Aug 23
  • Jameson Williams (WR – DET) Going as the WR28, Williams finished with 1,117 receiving yards last year, tied for eighth among all wide receivers, and is now a two-time 1,000-yard receiver averaging an elite 11 yards per target each of the past two seasons.

  • Tet is the one who already showed us the workload and is still being priced like we’re guessing.” – Jay Henry Ocho ( Jay Henry Ocho ) Jameson Williams (WR – DET) “ Jameson Williams is the type of player that can perform like a WR1 more often than he performs like a WR3.

  • Williams has posted two straight 1,000-yard seasons, and the usage shift that fueled his second one wasn’t just about a teammate’s absence, but a genuine in-season change in play-calling that got him the ball closer to the line of scrimmage to use his after-the-catch ability rather than deploying him purely as a decoy running deep routes.

  • The Fantasy Hitman was hoping to get Christian Watson before being sniped, so he settled for another explosive home run hitter in Williams. With his trio of WRs including the uncertainty in Nabers, Williams adds a big-play element to the consistency of Smith and gives Mike a very solid start to his draft.

    Kurt Mullen· Aug 7
  • 20 come from two buckets: Hyper-specified role players (Stefon Diggs, Rashee Rice) Guys with other top 24 or strong ancillary target competition (Both Rams WRs, Jameson Williams, CeeDee Lamb, Tee Higgins, Quentin Johnston with Ladd McConkey/Keenan Allen) You may notice there’s one guy on this list who fits in neither, and it’s Thundering Herd legend Christian Watson (shout out to NDSU).

    Tony Martin· Jul 30
  • Despite finishing WR21 in PPR points per game, Jameson Williams remains too volatile to trust in lineups.

    Kyle Zeigler· Jul 28
  • Jameson Williams is always electrifying to watch, and he’s coming off a season where he caught 65 passes for 1,117 yards and seven touchdowns.

  • Jameson Williams is one of the most volatile wideouts in fantasy. Think back to the beginning of last season, when he gave you dud after dud, making you consider benching him, only to watch him go off in the one time you didn’t start him.

  • Jameson Williams (WR – DET) Anyone who plays in best ball fantasy football leagues loves the thought of drafting Williams. The former Alabama star is one of the most dangerous players in the NFL when at his best and can score a touchdown on nearly any play.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 25
Davante Adams
  • Davante Adams (WR – LAR) Inside Sean McVay’s pass‑heavy offense, Davante Adams remains a high‑end fantasy player. Even while playing next to Puka Nacua’s historic WR1 season, Adams scored 14 touchdowns in 14 games.

  • He’s only finished outside the top 15 of fantasy receivers once since 2015, and that was due to an injury-shortened campaign back in 2019. Adams has eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark in six of the past eight seasons (missing out on his seventh by only three yards).

  • Round 5 Targets Davante Adams (WR – LAR) | ADP: 50.4 ( WR 22) Many are expecting significant touchdown regression for Davante Adams. Last season, the future Hall of Famer led the NFL with 14 receiving touchdowns despite missing the final three games with a hamstring injury.

  • The FantasyPros ECR is pricing Davante Adams as a low-end fantasy football WR2. But last year was actually a red-flag season disguised as an elite one; he posted a career-low catch rate of 53%, his YAC per reception hit a career low, and the bulk of his production was TD-dependent with 15 scores (three coming in a game without Puka Nacua ).

  • He has contingent upside if Puka Nacua or Davante Adams miss any games.

  • Davante Adams is entering his age-34 season, caught only 60 passes for 789 yards last year and missed the final three games with a hamstring injury. That would already be enough to make him risky.

  • With offensive wizard Sean McVay as his head coach and the dynamic duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams at wide receiver, Stafford seems well positioned for another big season.

  • 13: Davante Adams (WR – LAR) Many are expecting significant touchdown regression for Davante Adams.

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 10
  • For the first time in a long time, Davante Adams is priced outside the top-24 WRs:

  • Having Davante Adams and Puka Nacua has elevated his fantasy value, and the Rams are built to make one more run with Stafford under center.

  • When Davante Adams is currently discussed, the conversation revolves around his age, the QB’s age, his coach, the other receivers on the team, pretty much anything and everything BUT his concussion history.

  • There’s a chance Stafford’s goal-line connection with Davante Adams (another overvalued player on ESPN ) helps inoculate him from this regression.

    Ted Chmyz· Jul 22
  • Los Angeles WR Davante Adams ranked 10th on this same list: “His instincts and route running are still there even as his athletic traits have declined,” an NFC exec said.

  • While Davante Adams doesn't receive a ton of volume, he is a touchdown machine.

    Kurt Blakeway· Jul 10
  • Some players are TD monsters every year (Davante Adams) while others have shown that six or seven TDs is their ceiling such as Keenan Allen.
