“After opening the season with 20 carries, 79 scrimmage yards, and three touchdowns, Montgomery has averaged nine carries and 36 scrimmage yards over his last three games, without scoring a touchdown in any of them. Even worse, Montgomery has turned his 47 carries this season into just 127 rushing yards — a miserable 2.7 yards per carry — and Woody Marks stole Houston’s lone rushing touchdown on Sunday.
