Drake Maye
  • For example, last season, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had an ADP of QB16, and he finished as QB2.

  • Brown should have no trouble seeing a consistently high target share as Drake Maye’s go-to receiver.

  • Alec Pierce, Nico Collins – 3.7 How to support a QB on a rookie deal ( Drake Maye ):

  • Only four quarterbacks last season bested their overall scoring ranking compared to ADP by more than five spots: Matthew Stafford (QB23 in ADP and QB3 in overall scoring output), Trevor Lawrence (QB20 in ADP), Drake Maye (QB16), and Caleb Williams (QB15).

    Rich Hribar· Aug 5
  • While many will worry about Drake Maye spreading the ball around in 2026, I’m not because last year that was related to New England not having an alpha-level receiver like Brown on the depth chart.

  • In only his second NFL season, Drake Maye finished QB2 in fantasy scoring, averaging 21.1 fantasy points per game. Maye was sublime as a passer last year, leading the NFL in completion percentage (72.0%), yards per pass attempt (8.9) and passer rating (113.5). Maye finished a close second in the MVP balloting behind the Rams’ Matthew Stafford .

  • The Patriots should once again have a solid offense, with young star QB Drake Maye at quarterback and new arrival AJ Brown upgrading New England’s WR corps.

  • In just his second year, Drake Maye absolutely tore it up, finishing as the overall QB2 in fantasy and dropping a massive 21.1 PPG.

  • Drake Maye over Josh Allen. Maye immediately looked like one of the best pure passers in the league last season and carries a significant age advantage.

  • There do not seem to be many questions about Drake Maye, with him flying off the board as the consensus QB3, exactly where he finished in 2025. When you find yourself with the fourth-highest pass success rate of any QB through their first two years in the NFL, just behind Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy, and Dan Marino, you are doing something right.

    Colt Williams· Jul 13
  • I recently had a league as such, and I took Drake Maye with the 1.02 pick. Sure, drafting Ja'Marr Chase and letting quarterback value come to me instead may have been a better idea, but knowing I have Maye on my team for, theoretically, the next 10 years is something to feel confident about.

  • Maye's second-year breakout led to a second-place MVP finish and a Super Bowl appearance. He was the QB2 behind Josh Allen in fantasy points for the season (producing 96.3% of Allen's season total), and the QB2 in points per game (20.7).

    Rich Hribar· Jul 9
  • Drake Maye's dual-threat ability will make him a highly sought-after quarterback in fantasy drafts, but I'll be curious to see how he performs against a tougher schedule.

  • Behren Morton will likely be the Patriots' third-string quarterback behind Drake Maye and Tommy DeVito.

  • With FantasyPros ranking their upcoming schedule as the 11th-hardest for fantasy quarterbacks, Maye's rushing will be key if he wants to replicate his elite fantasy numbers. It's likely regression will hit, pushing him down from last year's QB2 finish into the top eight.

Jadarian Price
  • Jadarian Price (RB – SEA) It was clear when Jadarian Price was drafted that he would carry the majority of the workload in Seattle. The Seahawks drafted him in the first round to replace Kenneth Walker III , and the team has treated him like a starter from the jump.

  • If Charbonnet isn’t back and rookie Jadarian Price can’t adapt to the NFL quickly, could we see even more volume for Smith-Njigba?

    Tom Strachan· Aug 11
  • Jadarian Price is one of my favorite mid-round running back targets this season as he’s projected to open the year as Seattle’s No. 1 RB. Price was electric during his time at Notre Dame, averaging more than six yards per carry in each of his three seasons.

  • Round 9: Jadarian Price (RB – SEA) With Kenneth Walker III leaving for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seahawks drafted Jadarian Price in the first round.

  • Price is a wonderful rushing talent ranking 25th and fifth in yards after contact per attempt, 31st and 3rd in breakaway rate, and 15th and 39th in elusive rating over the last two seasons in college (per PFF). Price is an intriguing RB2 with a ton of upside in 2026.

  • Jadarian Price was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Seahawks to be their new Kenneth Walker (and maybe more). Walker led the backfield last year for Seattle, but they limited his usage in the red zone and in the passing game. Price remains an unknown in the passing game after only 13 targets over the last two collegiate seasons at Notre Dame, but he could easily surpass Walker’s red zone usage in 2205.

  • The other player younger than Tuten is Jadarian Price , who has a looming split backfield with Zach Charbonnet .

  • Price was just selected in the first round by the reigning Super Bowl champions, who have an extremely run-heavy offense. Right now, his biggest competition for touches is George Holani , a 2024 UDFA with less than 100 career rushing yards.

    Ted Chmyz· Jul 27
  • Jadarian Price is another running back to fade. While everyone loves rookie running backs with first-round draft capital, here’s the thing: He’s not your usual first-round running back.

  • Brian Fleury has to preserve the pieces that worked while adjusting to a backfield that lost Kenneth Walker III, may not have Zach Charbonnet for much of the year, and is leaning heavily on rookie Jadarian Price despite major questions in pass protection, ball security, and receiving usage.

    Warren Sharp· Jul 24
  • That gutted the backfield, and GM John Schneider responded by spending his first-round pick, the 32nd overall selection, on Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price, the first running back Seattle has taken in the first round since Rashaad Penny in 2018. Price is a dynamic talent who averaged 6.0 yards per carry behind No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love and led the nation with 37.5 yards per kickoff return, though he will need to refine his pass protection to handle a full three-down role.

    Warren Sharp· Jul 24
  • The Seahawks ‘ selection of running back Jadarian Price in the first round of this year’s draft was likely influenced in part by the fact that Zach Charbonnet is expected to miss the start of the season. With Charbonnet on the shelf, Price will compete with George Holani and Emanuel Wilson for early-season touches.

  • Price is a long shot to finish as an RB1 this season. However, the Seahawks lost Kenneth Walke in free agency, while Zach Charbonnet is coming off a torn ACL and likely won’t play until Thanksgiving, if not later. Last year, Seattle had a run-first offense, ranking third in rushing attempts, averaging 25.8 per game from their running backs.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 15
  • Price's current average draft position sits in the middle rounds, a range he should outperform with ease. Managers gain his entire rookie contract at peak age, with immediate volume and multi-year stability.

  • Jadarian Price will have every opportunity to be the lead back in Week 1 with Zach Charbonnet recovering from his injury.
