Latest takes

D'Andre Swift
  • Swift should be a mid-range RB2 again this season.

  • D’Andre Swift among 55 qualified RBs with 80+ rush attempts: • 2nd in % of 5+ Yard Gains (43%) • 3rd in % of Runs Stuffed at the Line of Scrimmage (36%) • 6th in % of 10+ Yard Gains (14%) • 7th in Zone Rush Success Rate

  • D’Andre Swift is arguably the safest running back to take in the dead zone. For his entire career, Swift has always found a way to finish as an RB2 in fantasy scoring.

  • D'Andre Swift is a favorite draft target in the fifth round based on ADP.

  • The Bears have a two-man backfield, with RBs D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai sharing work. But it's worth leaning into the Chicago backfield because the Bears should have one of the better offenses in the league, and Bears head coach Ben Johnson is one of the best running-game designers in the league. I would rather have D'Andre Swift than Quinshon Judkins, even though Judkins is expected to have more touches.

  • Last year, Swift was the RB15, averaging 14.3 PPR fantasy points per game, a higher average than Bucky Irving (13.8) and Kenneth Walker III (11.3). More importantly, he averaged more rushing attempts (13.9 vs. 9.9) and yards per game (67.9 vs. 46.1) than Monangai last year.

    Mike Fanelli· Jul 3
  • Going into this season, Swift is going to be the 1A in a duo with second-year back Kyle Monangai, as the team didn't draft any running backs nor sign anyone in free agency, leaving Swift and Monangai with the backfield all to themselves.

  • Swift racked up a career-high 1,087 yards on the ground and scored 10 total touchdowns, and with 34 receptions for 299 yards, averaged 14.3 fantasy points per game, good for RB16.

  • If that happens, Swift could easily be a top-18 running back for fantasy.

    Tom Strachan· Jun 10
  • Swift was the preferred option around the goal line, and it becomes quite hard not to be interested in him at his current cost of RB25, going around pick 60.

    Tom Strachan· Jun 10
  • Swift had a higher explosive run rate (5.4% vs. 4.1%), a better missed tackles forced rate (0.17 vs. 0.10), generated more yards before contact and was the better receiving back.

    Tom Strachan· Jun 10
  • Swift's efficiency numbers bounced back after a horrible 2024 season, ranking 13th in explosive run rate, 11th in rushing success rate, and 20th in missed tackle rate, and should be a mid-range RB2 again this season.

  • D'Andre Swift arguably had a career year last season for the Bears as the RB16 in fantasy points per game, finishing with 257 touches and 1,386 total yards while splitting work with Kyle Monangai.

  • David Montgomery and D'Andre Swift are clean examples because they sit back to back in ADP, with Montgomery at 5.5 and Swift at 5.6 (as of June 3rd). Or do you need Swift's receiving profile and a different ceiling bet if the Bears take their offense to the moon?

    Chris Cash· Jun 6
  • Yes, he's getting a little older, but those numbers belong to a running back who still has real juice, not one that's falling off a cliff. The Bears' offense is ascending, and Swift is right in the middle of it.

    Matty Kiwoom· May 18
Lamar Jackson
  • The Ravens dealt with Lamar Jackson being injured on and off for the year, and he still had that finish.

  • Declan Doyle is the new offensive coordinator and early returns are favorable. He comes from the Ben Johnson coaching tree, so I think we will see them use Jackson in ways we haven’t seen before.

  • Lamar Jackson – 0.58 Most rushing TDs on fewer than 200 carries in 2025: 1

See 12 more
  • Lamar Jackson , Jayden Daniels , Joe Burrow , Baker Mayfield , and Kyler Murray all were selected as top-12 players at the position and finished double-digit slots behind expectations in terms of points per game.

    Rich Hribar· Aug 5
  • If Lamar Jackson can bounce back, Henry could inch back closer to his 2024 production (RB4 in fantasy points per game).

  • Injuries and a steep decline in rushing production cratered Lamar Jackson ‘s fantasy value in 2025. After finishing QB1 in fantasy scoring in 2024, Jackson plummeted to a QB20 fantasy finish last season and was QB16 in fantasy points per game at the position. Jackson lost three games to an early-season hamstring injury and one game to a late-season back injury.

  • Lamar Jackson cratered many fantasy rosters in 2025. Before an early October hamstring injury, he was on pace for 3,700 passing yards, 437 rushing yards, and 47 total TDs.

  • The most obvious thing to consider is your positional strengths and weaknesses — trading for Lamar Jackson when you already have Josh Allen probably isn’t a good idea.

    Ted Chmyz· Jul 26
  • If you want an elite QB, pocket your picks for a round and a half and take Lamar Jackson, instead.

    Jeff Krisko· Jul 23
  • There isn’t a single drafted player on the Ravens that goes higher than I would take them, with Lamar Jackson standing out as the single best 1QB value I have ever seen if you want to get a top-two quarterback, going at pick 46, 19 picks past QB1, Josh Allen.

    Jeff Krisko· Jul 23
  • With plenty of time to recover from last season, Jackson is a ticking time bomb for fantasy production.

    Ellis Johnson· Jul 23
  • Things did not go well for Lamar Jackson in 2025, but he still displayed his ceiling early on before injuries started to stack up.

    Tom Strachan· Jul 21
  • For what it’s worth, Lamar did speak highly of Doyle’s offense this spring, saying: “ It’s a different system than what I’m accustomed to being in, and I feel like there’s going to be a lot of explosiveness this year.

    Matthew Betz· Jul 19
  • The case for Lamar staying near the top of the market: he’s not even 30 years old, he was still playing at an elite level in weeks one and two last season before his injury in week three derailed the rest of his year, and he has never failed to have an MVP-caliber first season under a new play caller, which is exactly the situation he’s in again this year.

  • Jackson's 2025 performance was marred by injury and a subpar level of play (by his standards). Therefore, while he has tremendous leverage by virtue of the restructure and the $84.34MM cap number it created for 2027, he may want to come to the negotiating table on the heels of a better season.

    Rory Parks· Jul 12
