Chuba Hubbard
  • Chuba Hubbard (RB – CAR) Chuba Hubbard followed his RB15 finish in 2024 with a massively disappointing 2025 season, falling to RB40 in fantasy points per game and losing his starting job to Rico Dowdle .

  • Don’t be surprised if Brooks takes the starting role from Chuba Hubbard sooner than later, especially with the veteran missing time with a hamstring injury.

    Mike Fanelli· Aug 31
  • Trevor Etienne (RB – CAR) Trevor Etienne was a depth piece I had an eye on entering 2026 as a potential contributor, given the struggles we saw from Chuba Hubbard last season.

  • Round 9: Jonathon Brooks (RB – CAR) Fellow Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard was inefficient last season, and this is opening up a potential lead-back role for Jonathon Brooks so long as he can stay healthy after tearing his ACL twice over the last few years.

  • Originally, I believed Chuba Hubbard from Sherwood Park, Alberta, is the most likely candidate to win over the backfield.

    Ellis Johnson· Aug 19
  • Hubbard was arguably the most inefficient running back in the NFL last year. Among 49 qualifying backs, he ranked dead last in missed tackle rate and explosive run rate (zero explosive runs) while also sitting at 47th in yards after contact per attempt (per Fantasy Points Data).

  • He is now going less than a round behind Chuba Hubbard in ADP. On DraftKings, the ADP flip has already occurred, as Brooks goes almost one round earlier than Hubbard on that platform.

  • His lack of experience in the NFL, combined with the injury history and Chuba Hubbard ‘s relative success has capped Brooks’ fantasy ADP, making him an ideal zero RB target

    Chad Workman· Aug 6
  • For my team, which needs running back talent, Price was the best option when compared to Kenneth Gainwell , Chuba Hubbard , Aaron Jones , etc.

  • Chuba Hubbard has had some nice moments during his time with the Panthers, but we saw him briefly lose the starting role to Rico Dowdle last season. I’m betting that something similar happens with Jonathon Brooks.

  • Same with Chuba Hubbard and Jonathon Brooks . Hubbard had 10 rushing scores in 2024 (their running backs had 12).

    Rich Hribar· Jul 24
  • Chuba Hubbard is projected to be the lead back; however, his 2025 campaign saw him get overtaken by Rico Dowdle . In the offseason, Dowdle signed with the Steelers, but the path is still not completely clear for Hubbard.

  • These two go together, and I am going to start with Chuba Hubbard being pretty much replacement-level as a running back.

    Jeff Krisko· Jul 24
  • For example, take Chuba Hubbard : around 220 fantasy points, 1,195 rushing yards, and 10 TDs. That’s the Buffalo chicken wrap of fantasy football. Nothing overly fancy, but it delivered exactly what you wanted almost every single week: a dependable, satisfying lunch you could count on.

    Brooke Morgan· Jul 22
  • Chuba Hubbard signed a four-year, $33 million extension with this team just a couple of years ago, and the team drafted Jonathon Brooks in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

    Matthew Betz· Jul 19
Kyle Pitts
  • The Falcons don’t have a lot of firepower at wide receiver beyond Drake London , so Kyle Pitts could very well be Atlanta’s No.

  • Players like Jaylen Warren , Terry McLaurin , Rico Dowdle , Rashee Rice , Jameson Williams , Emeka Egbuka , Quentin Johnston , and Kyle Pitts can all become interesting depending on where they are still available in your draft.

  • Cousins was starting for Atlanta in Week 15 last season when Kyle Pitts caught 11 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns.

  • -Pat Fitzmaurice Must-Know Tight End Fantasy Football Stats Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL) Kyle Pitts had a 22.7% target share last season, but it’ll be a bit of a different situation this season.

  • Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL) Kyle Pitts had a 22.7% target share last season, but it’ll be a bit of a different situation this season First, the Falcons will likely have Tua Tagovailoa under center early in the season, and I don’t trust him as a quarterback whatsoever. Further, Pitts led the team in target share because Drake London played just 12 games.

  • It’s easy to identify the top tier of tight ends in fantasy football this season: Brock Bowers Trey McBride Colston Loveland Tyler Warren Kyle Pitts Tucker Kraft But what does the position look like after that top tier? Below are three tight ends you can draft in the later rounds who have the upside to finish in the top five at the position.

    Kurt Blakeway· Aug 25
  • The much-maligned Kyle Pitts is being drafted in the seventh round.

  • Fantasy managers spent years paying for the Kyle Pitts breakout before it happened. Now that it finally did, no one seems interested in paying for it.

  • 10.04: Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL) This seems late for Pitts, but the concerns about the quarterback play in Atlanta are giving his stock a hit. That is a legitimate concern, but it should be noted that Tua Tagovailoa was able to get Mike Gesicki and Jonnu Smith career seasons.

  • There are compelling midrange options such as Sam LaPorta and Kyle Pitts .

  • isn’t exactly encouraging, but Kyle Pitts led the team in target share last season at 22.7%

  • Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL) The Falcons’ quarterback situation with a nicked-up Tua Tagovailoa and an injured Michael Penix Jr

  • Those are all elite numbers, and if Pitts had put up those stats all year, especially the fantasy points per game, he would have been the TE1 for fantasy. The problem is that with Drake London active, Pitts had a 19% target share, 42.2 receiving yards per game, 1.43 yards per route run, a 20.2% first-read share, 0.093 first downs per route run, and 9.6 fantasy points per game. All of those per route metrics were still quite strong, but the fantasy points per game mark would have made Pitts the TE20 last year.

  • Last year, Kyle Pitts had a tale of two seasons. Yes, overall it was a wonderful year as the TE5 in fantasy points per game and easily his best statistical season since his rookie year, but it was wildly different with Drake London in and out of the lineup. Without London, Pitts had a 26.7% target share with 84.4 receiving yards per game, 2.81 yards per route run, a 27.8% first-read share, 0.120 first downs per route run, and 19 fantasy points per game (per Fantasy Points Data).
