“Breece Hall had a tough time last year despite finishing as the RB20 in fantasy points per game.”

“Breece Hall (RB – NYJ) Currently going as the RB16 in PPR leagues, Breece Hall was the RB17 in the same format last season.”

“Breece Hall’s reception totals have declined every season, but I’m hoping that with more consistent quarterback play from Geno Smith and more weapons at the receiver and tight end positions, his usage will be much better in 2026. Still, Hall did turn 243 carries and 36 catches into more than 1,400 total yards.”

“Hall should see an increase in targets, especially considering Ashton Jeanty saw 69 targets with Smith under center for the Raiders last season. If Hall sees more opportunities in the passing game, his receiving role alone justifies taking him in the dead zone.”

“With Geno Smith commanding the offense, this may be the most stable quarterback Hall has played with in his young career. That said, we are also coming off a horrific season for Smith with the Raiders in 2026.”

“Hall is also due for some positive regression in the passing game. After catching 76 passes in 2023 and 57 in 2024, he was held to just 36 last season. Hall still posted the third-best yards per reception among running backs last season.”

“The projections call for more than 1,500 total yards, nearly 50 receptions, and close to double-digit touchdowns. Hall remains one of the league's most efficient runners on a per-touch basis.”

“While Omarion Hampton has been the lead back, he hasn’t come close to justifying his early second-round price tag over three weeks. Keaton Mitchell is eating into some of those high-value touches (not that the Chargers get many), and Hampton’s limited receiving role is capping his fantasy ceiling even further. If drafting today, I wouldn’t consider Hampton until the middle of the fourth round.”

“The Fantasy Points Data Suite also shows that, among 31 qualifying running backs, Omarion Hampton ranks 25th in yards before contact per attempt ( 1.28) and has been stuffed on 46% of his carries. It’s a nightmare for Hampton managers because Seattle hasn’t allowed a rushing touchdown in three games. The volume will be there, as Hampton commands 61.7% of the rushing attempts, but it’s hard to see him finding the end zone.”

Would I have to get rid of one of the only reliable players that I have?”

“Hampton is still considered a borderline top-five dynasty running back in the eyes of many. Definitely don’t sell him for any less than what he’s currently worth. In player-for-player deals, I’d be happy shipping Hampton off for guys like Drake London or George Pickens .”
