Latest takes

Bijan Robinson
  • Robinson is my favorite bet to be the RB1 overall in 2026.

  • Last year, Bijan Robinson was the RB2 in fantasy points per game. For most of the season, he was pacing towards a 1,000-yard season for rushing and receiving before tailing off at the end of the season (820 receiving yards).

  • Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson is the top overall player on my board and should see a spike in goal-line rushing work with Tyler Allgeier finally gone.

  • To kick things off, I went with Bijan Robinson. He just got a massive extension, and he’ll touch the ball well over 300 times in an offense that’ll rely heavily on him.

  • Fantasy Football Research & Advice Fantasy Football Expert Rankings 2026 Fantasy Football Draft Kit Fantasy Football Trade Analyzer Fantasy Football Draft Strategy: Pick 1.04 Players to Consider at 1.04 Fantasy Football Draft Pick These players will likely be available when you make your selection: Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN) Puka Nacua (WR – LAR) Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR – SEA) Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) It’s fair to assume at least one of Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs will be gone, if not both, as they’re the consensus top two picks.

    Tom Strachan· Aug 11
  • The Case for Bijan Robinson Since entering the league in 2023, Robinson has established himself as an elite running back.

    Kyle Zeigler· Aug 10
  • Last year’s PPR RB2 in fantasy points per game, and now free from Tyler Allgeier , Bijan Robinson feels primed to take a big step forward in 2026.

    Tom Strachan· Aug 9
  • Round 1 starts with a coin flip between Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs at the top — Fitzmaurice gives a slight edge to Robinson’s bigger frame, but calls it close enough that he’d be comfortable with either in different leagues. Whichever one he lands, he’s generally committing to a Hero RB build and staying away from a second running back for several rounds.

  • Bijan Robinson Love has yet to play an NFL snap; Bijan has 5,600+ career yards and 34 TDs

  • Bijan Robinson got a new deal recently now it's Taylor's turn

    FFToday· Aug 6
  • Another generic one that is pretty popular. I’ve named my fantasy team this a couple of times when drafting Bijan Robinson . As if you need another excuse to draft the Falcons superstar running back. He’s my 1.01 this year.

  • While getting QBs early in a SuperFlex draft is much more typical than in a 1QB system, Jason chose to get an RB in Bijan Robinson to start his draft.

    Kurt Mullen· Jul 29
  • The RB1 Debate The Bijan Robinson vs Jahmyr Gibbs debate has been discussed multiple times on recent shows, but the consensus is that both RBs are clearly above the rest of the field.

  • Players such as Christian McCaffrey , Jahmyr Gibbs , Bijan Robinson and De’Von Achane all cleared 60 receptions last season. They produce in every phase of the game.

Trey McBride
  • Cardinals TE Trey McBride has become a prolific fantasy scorer.

  • The second round did see the top two TEs go off the board – Brock Bowers at 2.04 and Trey McBride at 2.06. In a full PPR format, the elite TEs could separate themselves even more than usual, with guys like Bowers and McBride as two of the few guys at the position who could lead their team in targets.

    Kurt Mullen· Aug 14
  • In full-PPR formats, running backs and wide receivers split the top 10 in points per game 50/50, while running backs made up 10 of the top 20 spots in those leagues ( Trey McBride was in there as a tight end).

  • Starting WR/WR with Drake London or Nico Collins in round two could let you lean into Zero RB with an elite tight end such as Brock Bowers or Trey McBride .

    Tom Strachan· Aug 11
  • Let’s use last season’s leading TE scorer, Trey McBride , as an example. He scored 315.9 PPR fantasy points last season. In TE-premium, where he gets an extra half-point for each of his 126 receptions, McBride scored 378.9 fantasy points.

  • McBride ran 156 more routes last year than any other tight end. This fact and McBride’s talent fueled plenty of fantasy teams to championships last season. Among 59 qualifying tight ends, McBride was first in target share (25.4%), receiving yards per game (72.9), red zone targets (32), and first-read share (33.8%).

  • Tight end gets a partial exception: he’s comfortable taking Brock Bowers or Colston Loveland at their going rate in the second round, but not Trey McBride, whose value is tied to a huge target total in Arizona that’s likely to shrink now that the Cardinals used a premium pick on a running back.

  • Trey McBride (199.8 half-PPR points) and Brock Bowers (195.5 half-PPR points) are the only tight ends who clear that mark.

  • We are coming off a season in which Trey McBride provided the largest gap in scoring to the TE2 in league history (which does say more about the field than McBride himself), and he was the 11th-best player in scoring per game.

    Rich Hribar· Aug 6
  • Last season’s production was heavily inflated by his 11 touchdowns, tying Trey McBride for the most at the position

  • ADP: -6 It will be hard for Trey McBride to top the year he had in 2025.

  • Loveland is the consensus TE3 for 2026 fantasy drafts behind only Brock Bowers and Trey McBride .

  • From Week 9 on, Loveland was TE2 in fantasy scoring behind only Trey McBride .

  • Round 3: Trey McBride (TE – ARI) I haven’t taken a receiver yet, but with Trey McBride still on the board, he was too good to pass up.

  • Neither should be drafted this high. Last season, McBride averaged 18.6 PPR points per game, and Bowers averaged 15.5 in 2024, the better season of his two years in the NFL.

    Tom Strachan· Jul 27
